Entrepreneur in Residence of Calgary Tecnologies in Calgary, Canada, Kelly Graves, is currently in the Cook Islands at the invitation of the National Energy Committee (NEC) to assist them on building the process for the country to harness the opportunities available for the development and utilization of renewable energy and explore the technologies available in this field.
The visit is one of the initiatives undertaken by the NEC and seen as a vital first step to developing a platform for the country to advance the use of renewable energy.
Graves has extensive experience in renewable energy technologies with particular emphasis on getting businesses excited about the economic opportunities that lie in the promotion and selling of renewable energy.
While Graves visit is primarily to assist the Committee, he will also be meeting with the private sector.
