Fiji’s Roving High Commissioner to the Pacific Islands, Ratu Finau Alifereti Mara made a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Dr Robert Woonton on Wednesday.
Ratu Mara was visiting Rarotonga to present his credentials to the Queen’s Representative, Frederick Goodwin. He was appointed the country’s first Roving High Commissioner in 2001 and is based in Fiji.
He was previously a member of the Fijian diplomatic corps at the United Nations. The High Commissioner arrived in Rarotonga last week and was scheduled to leave again on Friday.
